Categories

Definition:

Categories are a means of classifying Catalog Items. At the moment, SmartBilling supports only one level of categorization.
In other words, you can define Catalog Categories as shown in the example below, and add Products, Services and Charges within the defined Category

Procedure to follow when creating Categories:

  • On the 'Products and Services' page, in the Configuration group box, click on the 'Categories' link.
  • On the 'Categories' page, click on the 'Add Category' link.
  • Enter the Category Name
  • Optionally, select a Parent Category Name from the drop-down list. (May not be supported in the current version)
  • Click the [Save] button
