Categories
Definition:
- Categories are a means of classifying Catalog Items. At the moment, SmartBilling supports only one level of categorization.
- In other words, you can define Catalog Categories as shown in the example below, and add Products, Services and Misc. Charges within the defined Category

Procedure to follow when creating Categories:
- On the 'Products and Services' page, in the Configuration group box, click on the 'Categories' link.
- On the 'Categories' page, click on the 'Add Category' link.
- Enter the Category Name
- Optionally, select a Parent Category Name from the drop-down list.
- Click the [Save] button
