SmartBilling 5.0 Subscriptions, and how they are related to other SmartBilling objects

How does SmartBilling represent a Subscription?

A SmartBilling Subscription ties together all of the parts that work together to generate invoices for recurring charges, non-recurring charges and usage charges.
A Subscription must have, at the very least, the following relationships
a Customer,
a Service Location,
a Service,
and through the Service, to one or more Products, Charges, (Usage) Rates and Suppliers
It can also be related to a series of non-overlapping Contracts
